The Horne Quarry is a small road metal quarry used for road building. Co-ordinates estimated from topographic map (USGS Map Name: Center Harbor, NH Map MRC: 43071F4). The name came from the closeness of the quarry to the former Ebenezer Horne farm. The small pit intercepted the feldspathoid-bearing ring dike of the Red Hill ring-dike formation centered at 43 degrees 45 minutes North by -71 degrees 27 minutes West. Those co-ordinates are in the interior fine granite. The feldspathoid ring is about 1.5 km symmetrically about those co-ordinates.
