Numerous workings, including a shaft and adits in Secs 21 & 28 T7N R4E about 12 miles NE of Dodgeville. These had significant lead production between 1880 and 1890. Mineralization was in faults or fissures in the Ordovician Prairie du Chien Group dolostones and underlying Cambrian Jordan sandstone. The galena was in coarse crystals and the ore was deeply oxidized.
