Daisy-Tempest Mine; Silver Mountain Mine
A silver mine above the townsite of Daisy. The geology is quartz veins in argillite of the Ordovician Ledbetter slate adjacent to Cretaceous-Tretiary granite to granodiorite of the Huckleberry Range. Development consisted of four adits containing 4000' of workings. It produced ore prior to 1900, also in 1916 and 1934 containing a reported 28,000 lbs Pb and 13,000 oz Ag.
