Carbonatites occur at the eastern end of the Hatta Zone as sub-parallel layers and lenses within strongly deformed cherts, shales and pillow lavas. The carbonatites are internally little deformed and have sharp and sheared contacts with the country rocks.
Age: Probably Triassic or late Cretaceous
