Structure: Nne-Trending Fault And Shear Zones
Deposit: Developed by six adits, total workings 3500 feet. ; info.src : 1 pub lit; 2 unpub rept; 3 field observ milky quartz veins generally less than 30 cm wide cut phyllite and conglomerate which is calcareously cemented. The rocks are faulted and folded and may be near a major N-trending high-angle fault. Stopes and major workings were noted along a n-s, 0-35e, low angle (thrust?) fault zone. The remaining- vein material is up to 30 cm wide. But stopes are about 1.5 m wide. There is sparse sericite in the veins which contain scattered limonite concentrations. No sulfide minerals were observed in the samples examined. Scheelite occurs in the quartz.; model name could also be: polymetallic veins.
Deposit type: Low-sulfide Au-quartz vein
Development: No activity at time of examination in 1984 although numerous bulldozer roads and rotary drill holes are present
Geology: Numerous 1-24 in. Wide quartz stringers & veins parallel a nne-trending fault that dips steeply
Rock formation(s): Natchez Pass
Ore(s): Fault Zone
