Quarry in marble, silicate marble and graphite schist; operated by Malaschofsky Co.
The quarry, located in the forest south of Pölla, was extended at about the start of 2018, with a new quarry located south of the old quarry; the old quarry is abandoned and slowly being filled up with overburden (situation 2018-2022).
Mineralogy currently under study (Kolitsch, Löffler et al., 2022-).

NOTE: Not to be confused with the Malaschofsky quarry in Lichtenau owned by the same company!
