A porphyritic syenite dome, in surrounding larvikites, located at the South end of Lake Mykle (both on the souteastern coast and southwestern coast of Lake Mykle), in the Southwestern part of the Oslo rift.
The syenite was derived from a larvikitic melt by a fractionation process.
The coordinates are generic for the area.
The minerals listed are mostly of interest from a petrographic perspective.
