A former lode Au-Zn-Pb mine located in sec. 7, T33N, R7W, MDM (coordinates estimated; sections projected), 2.7 km (9,000 feet) ENE of Deadwood. Property consists of 20 claims. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in slate. The ore body strikes N80W and dips 50N at a thickness of 1.22 meters, a depth-to-bottom of 60.96 meters, depth-to-top of 0.0 meters, and a length of 27.43 meters. Controls for ore emplacement
included the contact of slate and diorite porphyry. Associated rocks include diorite. Local rocks include carboniferous marine rocks, unit 4 (Eastern Klamath Mountains).

Ore concentrated in quartz veins in diorite porphyry near contact with slate. Calcite cuts veinlets of quartz and arsenopyrite about 0.1 inch thick. Pyrite occurs in irregular patches in quartz. Less common in altered dike rock near the veins. Galena is scattered through quartz, commonest near vein walls. Smaller amounts of sphalerite are associated with galena, but more disseminated in porphyry. Visible gold plate occurs with small patches of galena. Gold was produced from ore shoots.

Workings include underground openings with an overall depth of 60.96 meters. Several adit levels covering 200 feet vertical range. A winze was sunk 150 feet below the main (6th) level.

Analytical data results: Ore varied from $30 to $600/ton (period values).
