Historic gold mine. The country rock is variably altered andesite and breccia. The lease contained numerous quartz veins, worked near the surface., The veins extended to no great depth, and were lenticular, much faulted and crushed. Found in the quartz veins was pyrite, marcasite, chalcopyrite, enargite, cuprite, sphalerite, barite, all except pyrite sparsely disseminated, or as isolated patches. The Mindat co-ordinates are approximate.
