Quarries and exposures near Falls of Schuylkill, including "south side of ravine below Chamounix Lake", "cuts along Strawberry Hill Drive", "exposures along East River Drive", and "quarry on north side of P&R railroad". Apparently applies to both above and below falls - i.e., above and below the modern Falls Bridge, north to City Avenue bridge, and south some distance to the Columbia Railroad Bridge. Consequently, potentially includes several sub-localities.

Hornblende gneiss, pegmatites, Wissahickon gneiss.
