Located 23 km north north east of Oobagooma Homestead.
Various lead and copper shows described historically as small but rich. A few were worked to a very limited degree from around 1900 to the 1930's. The area was once cattle stations but is now a military training area so access is not permitted. Uranium is also being explored recently.
Massive stratiform and breccia base metal mineralisation, 3 x 150 metre gossanous zone hosted by calcite-quartz-sericite schist, in the north north-west striking Marboo Formation. Intruded by Ruins Dolerite.
Mineralisation is disseminated pyrrhotite, with minor pyrite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite, galena in graphitic slate. Massive fine grained pyrrhotite. 60% is brecciated.
The Mindat co-ordinates for the prospect are approximate. The airstrip marked on Google Maps at the site, does not exist in reality.
