Crypto-explosive breccia pipe in quartz-monzodiorite, intruded in upper Devonian to lower Triassic sediments. The funnel-shaped pipe has a diameter of about 150 m across its upper part and extends down to a depth of more than 500 m. The breccias are angular and chaotically arranged, and consist of quartz-monzodiorite, garnet skarn and minor marble, and are cemented by garnet skarn. The pipe grades laterally into intensely skarnized quartz-monzodiorite and marble.
Ores occur as lenticular or podiform bodies in the pipe, and in skarn pods lateral to the pipe. The sulphides form disseminations, spots or patches in the breccias, or are penetrated by quartz and carbonates in the skarn.
