On old locality labels, Horhausen is often used as a generic name, referring to all mines within a 2-3 km distance. These include the mines at Bürdenbach (e.g. Louise, Lammerichskaule), at Willroth (e.g. Georg), and at Güllesheim (e.g. Nöchelchen). Since the mines in the area all worked the same veins, the attribution of a specimen to a specific mine is rarely possible.
