The pegmatite dyke can be reached from the village of Olgiasca, going downhill towards the southern shore of the Piona Peninsula.
The pegmatite dyke is located along the shore, at an altitude of 189 m a.s.l. (almost at the high water level), to the south of Olgiasca. A metal gate blocks the entrance to the underground excavation, used as a private storage room.
