Skarn with cavities with actinolite, apatite, titanite, calcite etc. is exposed in roadcuts along the road Øynaheiveien (Fv 260), west of Mjåvatn.

Garmo (1998) reported a mineralization exposed during roadworks in the end of the 1990s.

Specimens collected here are often either labelled as "Mjåvatn" or erronously "Øynaheia"
