The western, peridotite-hosted ore body was mined during 2007–2008 by Finn Nickel Oy, totaling 0.12 Mt at 0.92 % Ni and 0.44 % Cu. The total premining mineral resources were estimated to have been 292700 t at 0.91 % Ni, 0.53 % Cu,
0.06 % Co and 12.32 % S.
