Name:
After the chemist Professor Mercouri G. Kanatzidis (1957-), in honour of his achievements and innovations in chalcogenide chemistry.
New structure type: a unique van der Waals heterolayered structure based on alternating BiSbS3 double van der Waals layers and distorted [Te] square nets comprising an array of parallel, zigzag Te chains.
Probably a Dirac semimetal.
