The original Claims were staked in the summer of 1911 by Dave Elliot; claims staked late in 1912 by Harry Oakes, Ernie Martin, and a Mr. Anderson, who was a Swastica assayer, became part of the property in 1926. ( For those who seen this more will be added on April 12 2003)

In quartz veins occupying fractures in sediments (mostly conglomerate) and in syenitic rocks.
