Locality situated 2 km south of the small town Imanombo and 37 km SE of Beraketa in the southern part of Madagascar. A coarse-grained kornerupine-bearing pocket (50 cm across) was found in phlogopite bearing diopsidites bordered by garnet-sillimanite-cordierite gneiss belonging to the Beraketa belt.
