Potassic to ultrapotassic syenites. In the Pic Boby area, the main rock type contains pyroxene (diopside) and amphibole (edenite), and is nearly silica-saturated. A subordinate type is an undersaturated diopside- and phlogopite-bearing syenite (Nédélec & Grujic 2001).
