Sulphide-bearing hydrothermal quartz veins mined for Cu.
Worked for copper during several periods between 1691 to 1888 by the Åmdals Verk mining company. The sorted ore was transported during the winter over the moors to Åmdal.
The mine consist of several adits and shafts. The longest adit is more than 100 m long, and one of the vertical shafts is assumed to be 80m deep.
