Outcrops of a quartz vein hosted by sillimanite gneisses. The vein possibly represents an extension of the Bosberty vein, which is situated further north, near Anzat-le-Luguet in the Puy-de-Dôme department. Located in the Sianne valley, a few meters from the confluence with the Gazèze brook, just southeast of Chanusclade hamlet and about 500 m upstream of Pont de Vèze. The locality is beast reached by taking the footpath branching from the D9 road near Pont de Vèze and leading upstream on the righthand side of the Sianne valley.
A vein of bismuth was recently localized 50 meters in the North of the bridge of Vèze(D9) at the level of masses of fallen rocks.
