Vilachán do Monte is a village of Tomiño, located in the southwest of Pontevedra (Galicia). During the construction of a road, a very interesting range of minerals was discovered, including phosphates (wavellite, turquoise and others). Today, it is still possible to collect samples of interest, mainly micromounts.
