Gold mineralization in moderate to highly quartz-sulphide veined, brecciated and fractured micaschist, adjacent to a phyllic-altered rhyolite dome. The principal prospective mineralization is hosted in micaschist and is occurring in an at least 10 m wide, NE-trending fault zone with an average grade of 5.3 g/t Au. Within the high-grade zone, there are lenses of >20 g/t Au over widths of 1-3 m. The distinct linear high-grade zone is enveloped by a pervasive but comparatively lower-grade quartz stockwork system in sericite-quartz-limonite altered micaschist. The Au grades in the stockworked envelope is generally 0.1 to 0.5 g/t Au with narrow, 2-3 m wide zones of higher-grade gold mineralization (4-5 g/t Au).
