The alkaline intrusions consist mainly of early-formed silica-saturated alkali syenites from the north-eastern part (Baiyunshan intrusions) and later-formed silica-undersaturated feldspathoid syenites from the northern part of the complex (Changlinggang intrusions)- nepheline syenite
