Affioramento di Centrale Olivoni, Coazze, CittΓ metropolitana di Torino (Provincia di Torino), Piemonte, Italia
Outcrop of metamorphosed porphyritic monzogranite, known as Sangone metagranite, which tipically occurs in the lower slopes of the Sangone and Sangonetto valleys. Contacts are magmatic with the overlying polymetamorphic garnet-chloritoid micaschists and tectonic with the underlying graphite-bearing metasediments of the Pinerolo Graphitic Complex.
The sample studied by Bussy & Cadoppi (1996) was collected near Centrale Olivoni on the Sangone stream (see placeholder).
