Structure: Thrust Faults Major Ne-Trending Fault Set; Minor Nw Faults
Alteration: Silicification, Pyritization
Deposit: Discovery year: 1870's brecciated fault zone; main ore shoots localized where the fault cuts sandstone; barren where it cuts shale consists of 3 claims lying between the white and shiloh and the trinity veins on the hills n. Of duck creek. Property was extensively work in the late 1870's by 4 drift tunnels through a 200-ft. Vertical range. Total length of workings is about 2035 ft. Amount of pre-1916 production is unknown. ; info.src : 1 pub lit
Deposit type: Polymetallic veins
Development: 3 claims extensively worked in the 1870's by 4 drift tunnels through a 200-ft. Verticla range
Geology: Vein ranges from 3 inches to 4 feet wide. 3-4 inch ore streak (galena) follows the hanging wall. "ore was somewhat oxidized to a mass of iron-stained cellular cerussite surrounding unaltered galena. "anglesite present. Main ore shoots localized where fault zone cuts sandstone. Zone is barren where it cuts shale.
