Granite pegmatite. Oxford pegmatite field: Pegmatite & Calc-silicate deposit. Has a contact with the calc-silicate bearing Sangerville Formation. Excellent symmetrical dark coffee-brown vesuvianite crystals to 3 x 2 x 2 cm with occasional poor grossular were found during expansion of the pegmatite pit.
