Located in the Northern Broken Hill Block.

Silverton-type vein mineralisation (Ag-bearing galena in siderite).
Worked until the 1970s.

About 2 kilometres west of Silverton. John Stokie lodged a claim at the site in 1881. A small town developed around the mine, but people slowly drifted to nearby Silverton which had water. The mine initially closed in 1892.
