A quartz-baryte-fluorite vein hosted in a porphyroïd granite, mined intermittently for lead then for baryte from 1822 to 1940. Mineralization age : 255 +/-125 My (Trias to Lias). 5 adits were dug on the left bank of the Lignon river but they are collapsed or flooded now.
