Tre Croci is a hamlet in the Italian municipality of Vetralla, in the province of Viterbo, in Lazio.

The town takes its name from "three crosses", three wooden poles, which delimited the territory from Foro Cassio to Capacqua up to the woods. Currently, three real crosses are placed in Piazza Europa, the main square.

The town is located about 3 km from Vetralla, 12 from Viterbo and 10 from Lake Vico, close to the Cimini Mountains.

A natural monument is the "sasso Grosso", located less than 1 km along the path in the woods: a stone, probably of volcanic origin and coming from ancient explosions of the nearby Lake Vico. This huge boulder is today a symbol of the town.

Various spots around the village of Tre Croci yield thermometamorphic ejecta, rich in miarolitic cavities, from a pyroclastic formation of the Vico volcanic complex.

Host rock: High sanidine, plagioclase, clinopyroxene, clinoamphibole, magnetite, and biotite.

Note on the mineral list: The correct locality where piergorite-(Ce), mottanaite-(Ce), muscovite and some other species occur, is "L'Ulivo" at Tre Croci di Vetralla.
