The Noria Mine was active in the early 20th century, but mined out and flooded by the early 1970s. It mined the same skarn orebody as the Sabinas mine. Specimens should not be labelled with this name unless it is known that they were mined before the early 1970s. Many specimens mined later from other localities in this district (such as those from the Sabinas Mine in the 1990s) have been sold erroneously labelled with this "Noria" name. Specimens mined after the early 1970s should best be labelled with the district name, "San Martín-Sabinas District".
