Ancient manganese mining area on the northeast slope of Arlesberg mountain, southwest of Geraberg.

The name Arlesberg denotes both the mountain and the former village of Arlesberg, which ceased to exist in 1923 when it was merged with the neighbouring village of Gera to form the municipality of Geraberg.
