Punta della Valle (2667 m) is located between Monte Corbernas (2578 m) to the southwest and Punta di Tanzonia (2668) to the east, along the ridge dividing Alpe Devero from Alpe Pojala (Agaro Lake area, Premia municipality).
Minerals along the slopes of Punta della Valle are found in schists (almandine, kyanite, staurolite, albite, muscovite, pyrite, quartz, and rutile) and in dolomite marble (tremolite).
