A hill built of Upper Carboniferous conglomerates of the Culm Measures, also rhyolite vein at the foot of the eastern slope. North slope (underground on the coal mine levels) is where the minerals were found (Ankerite + Galena + Limonite). Information about ankerite veins with galena from the undeground adits of coal mine.
Coal field that later belonged to the Mieszko Mine, Podgórze, Wałbrzych, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland with permian volcanic intrusion. Nowadays, all occurrences of ankerite in the Nowa Ruda - Walbrzych region are related to the iron-bearing dolomite or ferroan dolomite, 'pure' ankerite does not occur.

West to the G.Zamkowa - Germ.Schlossberg, entrance to the nearby Sztolnia Amalia (Amalie Stollen) from which ankerite + calcite + galena + chalcopyrite. Also eruptive breccia (melaphyre) with ankerite + Sb-bearing tetrahedrite.
