Pennant Hills Quarry
A former quarry located near the junction of Quarry Road and Yates Road, Dundas, Sydney.
The quarry extended over an area of some 3.4 acres. Once quarrying finished the area was used as a council tip and covered over. It is now a combination of rehabilitated parkland (Dundas Park and Sir Thomas Mitchell Reserve)and housing estates.
The quarry operated from around 1866 through to the late 1940s.
