The Stratoni Project encompasses the polymetallic sulfide (pyrite, galena, sphalerite) mines of Madem-Lakkos (fully exploited) and Mavres Petres.

At the north part of Stratoni town, sulfide flotation facilities (i.e., Stratoni processing plant) process ore from the Mavres Petres mine to create lead and zinc concentrates which are then transferred onto cargo ships through the loading platform located at the port.

Plans are for the flotation facilities to close and the equipment to be transferred to the primary operation center of Hellas Gold SA in the Madem-Lakkos area.
