A large quarry in a large pegmatite dike especially rich in aeschynite-(Y). Bjørlykke (1934) reports masses weighing up to 500kgs (!).
Crystals of Allanite-(Ce) up to about 100 kg has been reported from this pegmatite (Pedersen, 2007).
There has been confusion about which quarry to call the Amerika quarry. Read here about this problem.
Bjørlykke locality no. 99.
