Tausonitovaya Gorka is located on the water divide between the streams Ditmar and Inarigda, a few kilometres from the small village of Ditmar, in the territory of Irkutskaya oblast'.

(Note that the locality is named after the mineral, tausonite, not the mineral after the locality.)
