Volcanic-hosted massive sulphide deposit (buried, no surface outcrops).
Located in northern Queensland approximately 35kms south-west of Charters Towers and approximately 35kms east of the Thalanga Mine, Charters Towers, Charters Towers Region, Queensland, Australia.

Ge concentration in colusite is in the 1.78-2.23 apfu range.
