Tectonics: Continental Platform Disrupted By Extensive Cenozoicvulcanism And Basin And Range Deformation.

Commodity: In some areas the veins contain stringers of pyrolusite and psilomelane.

Deposit: Old dude vein cuts obliquely across a series of veins and altered linear streaks. Old dude is known to dip steeply to the west and flatten with depth. 6 unpatented claims. See macho district for major regional trends, structures and general geology. ; info.src : 1 pub lit; 2 unpub rept

Development: D g fingado reported that wesco minerals inc was building a mill with 50 to 60 tons of ore per day capacity and was pumping to lower the water level in the mine (1964).

Ore(s): Veins Confined To Pre-Existing Fissures, Fractures And Minor Faults. Rising Mineralized Solutions Followed These Structures And Were Controlled By Tightness Of The Fractures, Rate And Duration Of The Flows, Composition Of The Solutions And Minor Cross Fracture Intersections.
