A mine project operated by Mantos Copper (2020).

Copper-gold mineralized breccias with iron oxide matrix, occurring along the Manto Verde fault, which is a subsidiary branch of the regional strike-slip Atacama fault system. Mineralization and geology are similar to those of other depoits in the Punta del Cobre belt (not to be mistaken for the Punta del Cobre district). In 2007, only oxidized copper ores are mined.
