Beryl was discovered in a feldspar-rich pegmatite with thick graphic and partially albitized blocky rose microcline zones (Fersman, 1962).
Highly corroded prismatic crystals of bottle-green and yellow-green beryl up to 18 cm long, were found in the albitized parts of microcline-perthite and in miarolitic cavities filled with whitish clay. Subhedral grains of opaque bluish beryl were also found in the vein. Has produced gems for the last 150 years.
