Uranium-bearing Permian phengite schists and arcose gneisses with intercalating quartz layers (so-called Wustkogel series), covered by triassic marbles of the Seidlwinkl formation. At Wustkogel mountain (2507 m a.s.l.), these rocks reach a height of up to 30 meters. Rocksled material from this area has been deposited in the HΓΌttwinkl valley, and forms part of the rocks worked by the Kaiserer and Lohning quarries.
Located to the east of the upper Seidlwinkl valley.
