Pachino-Capo Passero
Pachino-Capo Passero volcano lies at the extreme SE tip of Sicily and the southern end of the Hyblean Plateau.
The volcanic rocks comprise a thick sequence of submarine lavas, the central part of which became subaerial, overlain by shallow water reef limestones (Avanzinelli et al. 2012).
