A large vein (2 meters in width) of banded purple/green fluorite hosted in La Chaise Dieu granite.
This vein is located SE of La Tourette castle, 600 meters W of Josat, on the South bank of the Sénouire river and in front of the D21 road. It was mined during the 1930s by two short levels: the lower adit is close to the river an the upper adit is 20 m above. These adits are closed since the spring of 2008.
