County-level district of Chizhou Prefecture.

The deposits in this area belong to the Anqing-Guichi Mining District. Country rocks are Precambrian metamorphic rocks, Paleozoic-Early Mesozoic marine sedimentary rocks and Late Mesozoic volcano-sedimentary rocks, which are intruded by small Yanshanian diorite, granodiorite, and granite stocks. Skarn, stratabound massive sulphide and vein-type hydrothermal deposits are the principal mineralization styles. They are mainly hosted in Triassic dolostones and limestones.
