Metasedimentary REE-hosting biotite/amphibole quartzite at Olserum, between Överum and Gamleby, north of Västervik, Kalmar län, Sweden. The main mineral assemblage is quartz, biotite, amphiboles, magnetite, apatite, xenotime-(Y), and monazite-(Ce). The REE resource at Olserum occurs as a 600 m x 100 m body, striking roughly E-W, with a total surface area of ca 30 000 m2.
