Minerals are found inside Alpine fissures in gneiss of the Antigorio nappe.
The gneiss quarries, that are located in Antigorio Valley to the NE of Premia and can be grouped into Caderese, Passo, and Rivasco quarries, produce a dimension stone commercially known as βSerizzo Antigorioβ.
