A cleavelandite-quartz granite pegmatite dyke with a subordinate development of a magmatic microcline-quartz paragenesis. It can be classified as a muscovite – rare earth element (REE) - allanite type with amazonite-cleavelandite replacement units.
Located on a small hill about 4 km north of Iveland church.
The quarry is a fee-collecting site, with the possibility to pay at the site. Bring some small money with you. Price is KR. 50,- per person.
